Because neither of us made a huge deal about it. Putting on formal attire and caking on the makeup was certainly not fun for me. That was a major factor in me deciding not to do the formal wedding thing. But I did have fun at 3 or the 4 proms I attended. The only prom I didn't care for was my junior year - Thank you Dusty Mickelson for being a total tool. P.S. Saying "Kool and the Gang" every time you really "cool' is annoying after the first time.
