9-4-07 #300 Updated for Fun

Fact: Best. Update. Ever.

 >  I Told Nick that I Rule My Little World 24/7. After Which He Said, “WTF?” Confused, I thought about his Statement for a few Seconds. Then, All at Once it Came to Me- and I Responded with a Resounding “Yes, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday… but Also the other Four Days of the Week.

 > There’s a New Hitman Movie Trailer… You can Watch it (if you’re interested) by Click This Link.

 > This Bulleted Item is for My Dad. I Only Write in Bookscript (a term I made up for the Capitalization of Every Important Word of a Sentence) When Writing the Column and on Any Email Whose Subject Isn’t Interesting Enough by Itself. If I Ever Wrote you a Long and Detailed Story about How I Saved the Gremlins from an Army of Fluorescent Overbearing Communist Dictators I would Probably Write it Normally. Here’s a sample of what normal writing looks like, just in case you had either forgotten, or had it in your head that I forgot how to accomplish it.

 > I’m No Longer Bitter about Any of My Past Relationships. I Just Can’t Really See Any of Them Being as Happy as I am with Christine. Megan is Married… That’s both Weird and Beside the Point. This was Mostly Written Because I Caught Myself Thinking that I’m a Lucky SOB and I Must have Done Something Right Somewhere for it to Happen to Me… Nothing Could be Better (other than the exact same situation, only with the addition of a lifetime supply of candy.)

 > So Now that I’ve Been in College I’ve Found Myself Thinking on More than a Few Occasions- “What’s the Biggest Difference Between High Schools and Colleges as Institutions?” (WARNING: BIG WORDS AND LITTLE HUMOR LIES AHEAD IN THIS PARAGRAPH- PROCEED WITH EITHER CAUTION OR A BRAIN) I’ve Came Up with a Few Different Answers, but Before I Dabble into them I’ll First Refine the Question. The Question is NOT “What’s the Biggest Difference in Lebo High School and the University of Kansas for Me,” but is More along the Lines of “What is the Difference between the Society Made up from the Institution of High School and the Society Comprised of a Specific University.” At First I Thought the Main Difference Could Be Summed Up in One Word, Size. That Shifted Quickly to another One Word Answer, Prominence. The Best Answer I can think of as of Right Now is Equality of Everybody Involved. In High School you the get the Real Thick Headed, and the Hierarchy of Staffing and the Students in General. Here, Everybody Seems to be Equal, the Students and the Professors Even Seem to have a Kinship of Social Equality. The Only Real Exception to the Rule is the Athletes, to Hold a Semi-Celebrity Type Presence… I’m Still Searching for a Good Answer to fit My Question, and Just to Help to Bring Myself Down to a Respectable Level- I’ve Also Thought that the Biggest Difference in College is that, Now the Teachers, Like the Students, also Migrate Between Classrooms. (HERE MARKS THE REAL END OF THE DOMAIN OF THE “READING TO DO MORE THAN JUST LAUGH”)

 > I Need a Haircut.

 > I’ve Realized that I Only Talk to Smart People Anymore- Therefore, the Column has Adapted a New Quasi-Intelligent Feel to It. My Vocabulary has Expanded More than Democracy in the Southeast Portions of Africa in the Latter Portion of the Mid-1600’s. Don’t Worry Though, I’m Still the Average Stupid Guy, I’ll Try to Tone it Down… P.S. That Democracy bit There was a Load of Donkey Dookie. Hahaha, Donkey Dookie. Poop.

 > I Don’t Know if I’ve Mentioned that My Hall has a Pool Table. If Nothing Lay between Me and it Right Now, I Could Easily Hit it with a Baseball. So My Availability of a Place to Play Pool is Absolutely Unchanged from My House. Due to a Variety of Factors, I Almost Never Actually Play Anymore… Table Doesn’t Feel Like My Table, Lack of Time, Lack of Relationship with My Pool Partners, and the Environment in General. Luckily, Ping-Pong has Started Kicking Ass. > Have You Ever Had One of those Dreams that is so Realistic, It Doesn’t Seem Like a Dream Even After You Wake Up? I had One the Other Night, it was About Skateboarding, Minivans, and Christine. It was Pretty Tight… Is it Still Hip to Say “Tight?” Is it Still Hip to Say “Hip?” > I Officially Have Microsoft Word Again, Which Means I Can Now Update This Column on a Permanent Basis. However, I Currently Don’t have a Functioning Video Program Installed on this Computer- So CHUVandDongley and lankguy are Going to have to Wait to Grow Any Until that Situation Get’s Resolved.

Oh. My. God. Aaron Gillespie just wrote a paragraph of serious self-reflection. I never thought I’d live to see the day.

More importantly, related to Megan being married, (which I didn’t know, by the way) did you know that Cory R. and Sarah Mc. are engaged? It’s freaking crazy how much more real life seems now.

P.S. This is probably my favorite update thus far, too.
