Motto: Hear Ye, Hear Ye, I’m Near Pee
> Have you ever been in a room quiet enough that, when you take a drink of something, you can hear when it enters your stomach. Christine and I noticed that a while back. Mine was more noticeable. I think it’s because I’m bigger.
> I just got out of poetry class. This is a common time for me to update now. I cracked a joke at the end of class today. It got the weirdest response I’ve ever heard. Let me set the scene:
We just read a poem where a girl expresses her jealousy of a shirt, because it is on a guy that she likes and it’s all over him.
People had discussed how the poem personified the shirt, and made the girl envious.
The bell was getting ready to ring, I had the last comment.
I said “Yeah I think the shirt is definitely a point of jealousy for the girl, but what I find strange is this: why does the girl want to be the shirt? Why doesn’t she just want to be the girl who’s having sex with that guy?”
The entire room was absolutely silent for a moment, the professor had the most bewildered look I’ve ever seen him have.
Somebody said “What?!” and then simultaneously everybody in the room got that it was a joke and laughed, hard. Really hard. Like, beyond what laughter that joke should warrant hard.
> That was my interesting story for the update I suppose. > I finished a speech about Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. It was supposed to be five minutes long, but I fear that my speech is going to a bit closer to eight. The subject fascinates me. > Serj Tankian put out a new music video. For my favorite song (as of right now) on his album – The Sky is Over. This is the first music video I’ve ever seen that is made entirely of one shot. That’s crazy to me.
> Christine and I have been dating for 14 months and everything is going amazing. I love this woman. She’s great. I now fully believe that the point of life is to find somebody that you feel this way for. I look forward to the rest of my life as long as I’m with her. Christine I love you and happy Valentines Day.
Top 5: Reasons I’m having a good day 5. I cracked a joke that everybody (eventually) laughed at
4. It’s nice weather outside
3. My intramural team won by 34 points yesterday
2. It’s Valentine’s day and I’m going to see a play with Christine tonight (it’s for my acting class) footnote: the play has nudity in it, weird?
1. I beat Nick at Mario Kart this morning
Quotes:
” I think you put that very eloquently, and it’s a good point. “
- Carey Voeller, my Poetry teacher, to me. I was proud. -
” Hey daddy, you know I’m down, always been down with the doo-doo brown. “

Great, now my comment’s all out of context. Cut this sh*t out.
And I think I laughed way too hard at that joke. I’ve been depraved of Aaron-humor for almost a year now, I think that may be why. ESU is devoid of funny people. It sucks.
